One of the oldest homes in Sonoma, this farmhouse traces its roots back to the 1860s. The bones of the home speak of another era, and the interior design honors that spirit while making it entirely livable for today.
The owners wanted rustic and unhurried, refined and intentional. The result is an interior that defies easy categorization. Antique Japanese furniture mingles with English country pieces and Southwestern rustic elements in a way that should feel eclectic but instead feels inevitable familiar, somehow, even if you can't quite place why.
Earth tones set the foundation with warm, grounding, and connected to the landscape just outside the windows. But the palette never settles into predictability. Crimson, emerald green, and wheat gold make playful appearances throughout in a textile here, an object there adding warmth and surprise at every turn.
